BT Wholesale
In 2008, BT Wholesales main
focus was as a market-facing line of business. Overall, revenue decreased by
8% to £4,959 million, mainly due to a decline in low margin transit and
premium rate services revenue, price reductions in broadband and volume decreases
resulting from LLU migrations. However, at the same time, we are increasingly
positioning BT Wholesale as a provider of innovative, managed network solutions,
signing a number of major deals in 2008.
