8.2 million people in the UK alone have never been online, but we’re helping to bridge the digital divide through our network and our people.

Investing in society

Our investment in society (time, cash and in-kind contributions) totalled just over £31.9m in 2012, equivalent to 1.5% of our pre-tax profits.

Carbon emissions
Efficiency, low carbon energy purchases and investment in renewables are all helping to cut emissions by 80% on a 1997 baseline by 2020.

Employee engagement
By listening and talking to our people, we boost engagement and company performance. We got better in 2012 according to our Care Agile survey.
