The collectors’ version of an Openreach van, just released by Corgi

Openreach vans have now become collectors’ items - Openreach model vans, that is. It follows the release by Corgi, a leading name in die-cast scale models, of a limited edition model of the Vivaro van.
"Production and distribution of these model vans not only reaffirms the significance of the creation of Openreach as a milestone in the history of the UK communications industry but also serves to support our overall initiatives to raise awareness of Openreach among the general public”, said senior customer communications manager Caroline Hughes. The model, which is 96mm long and packed with fantastic detail, sells at £21.99 in the online Corgi catalogue, but Openreach has reserved a small number of the models and made them available to its people at the special price of £15.85, when ordered online (Once registered select Openreach.) A toy version, the same size but made of plastic will also be available later in the year.
