Charity day has the WoW factor

BT Executive Women has raised £300 for the charity Wellbeing of Women with a Purple WoW Day at BT Centre.
Executive Women members dressed in purple, rattled fundraising tins and handed out leaflets about women’s health along with purple balloons. Wellbeing of Women is the only UK charity dedicated to solving the health problems that affect women. “Half of all women in the UK will experience a reproductive or gynaecological health problem during their lifetime,” said WoW fundraising manager Asha Pael. “It may be trouble conceiving, painful periods, during menopause, or cancer. We fund medical research that investigates these issues and so enable women and their families to get more out of life.” For more information visit the charity’s website.
