Inspirational: Limone on Lake Garda
|
Limone is a small village on the edge of Italy’s magnificent Lake Garda. As its name suggests, it was once a major lemon-growing area.
Today it is best known as a peaceful and charming resort, full of interesting restaurants and open air cafes, where holidaymakers can totally unwind. This is where members of the regional recreation association will be based during a six-day trip to Lake Garda in October. The party will stay at the four-star Leonardo Da Vinci Hotel which is a flat 20-minute walk away from Limone’s ancient centre with its Venetian-styled buildings which have long been a source of inspiration for people like Goethe. The holiday will be from 1-6 October and includes five nights all-inclusive accommodation at the hotel. This covers bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner and a selected range of drinks. Travel is from Stansted Airport where the group will be given the services of a special check-in person. Special prices starting at £369 per person have been negotiated by the recreation association. To find out more, visit the association’s website. Otherwise all enquiries should be directed to The Travel Adventure by e-mail or phoning (01825) 740747 and asking for Jayne or Caroline.
