BT Global Services people from BT’s Sovereign Street base in Leeds held a hi-tech sporting event that collected almost £200 for charity.
They held a Wii tournament at the Wellington pub in Wellington Street, with six teams competing on the virtual games machines to raise money for Sport Relief. One of the fundraisers, Lisa Snaith, said: “The teams consisted of four people each, who battled it out in what turned out to be a fun-packed evening. “The entry fee per team was £10, all of which was donated to Sport Relief, as well as other funds raised on the evening, so thanks to everyone who took part.” The winning team was Amar Karim, Luke Murphy, Alex Chung and Raj Kissy.
