Discussions between Connect and BT will resume next week
Connect, the union for managers and professionals in the UK, has agreed with BT that it will withdraw its notice for industrial action, short of a strike, to allow more time for discussions aimed at resolving the dispute.
BT’s director of employee relations Tom Keeney said: “The company welcomes the withdrawal of the industrial action notification as it enables the discussions to continue with the aim of resolving this matter.
“This has always been our preferred approach and we will work with the union to do this as quickly as we can.
“The discussions will resume next week and there will be further updates as they progress.”
