Tony James has £50 to spend on Amazon - thanks to BT Today

A technical officer from Cornwall is the winner of £50 worth of Amazon vouchers in the latest BT Today competition in the South West.  

Tony James, who is based at Bude, works for BT Operate subsea cable systems. He and his colleagues look after the equipment on the TAT-14 subsea cable system which runs from Bude to the USA.

Tony correctly answered the four questions as follows:

  1. How much did the Torridge District Explorer Scouts receive from the BT Community Champions award scheme? Answer: £310

  2. Where in Portugal did the North Devon Athletics Club go for its summer training camp? Answer: Monte Gordo on the Algarve

  3. How many days is BT Design’s Jeremy Piggott planning to take to cycle from London to Paris? Answer: Four

  4. To which charity does Jon Jacobs give approximately 800 hours of his time every year? Answer: St John Ambulance.

Tony said: “This is a wonderful surprise. I use Amazon quite a lot for books and CDs so these vouchers will come in very handy.”
