Double change on finance front

BT Operate and BT Design have appointed new chief financial officers (CFOs). The double change has come about with the move of Himanshu Raja from CFO BT Operate to take up the role of CFO for BT Design, 21C and commercial management of new technology vendors and outsourced development.
He replaces John Whitehead, who becomes the vice president finance for BT Global Services UK. The new CFO BT Operate is Richard Cameron, who joins Operate from BT Retail where he was finance director of its consumer division. Roel Louwhoff, chief executive BT Operate, said: “I speak for the whole Operate executive board and leadership team when I say how sorry we will be to lose Himanshu. “He has been pivotal over the past nine months in helping shape, not only the Operate financial picture, but also the Operate strategy. “His move to BT Design, however, allows us to build on the work we have done to date with Design, further strengthening collaboration between our two units. “Meanwhile the Operate business is going through an exciting and challenging transformation at the moment and I am now looking forward to Richard fully contributing to its future success, after playing a key role in the transformation of Retail’s consumer business over the last couple of years. “I’m sure everyone will join me in wishing Himanshu and Richard every success in their new roles.”
