BT Global Services hosted its fourth Global Mobility Leadership Council, held in Berlin last month.
The council is a dedicated global community that meets twice a year to discuss and share insights, learning and key trends in enterprise mobility. Customers attended from the air transport, fast-moving consumer goods, finance, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors and included Iberia, Beam Global, Credit Suisse BMS and Nexans. They came from France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, US and the UK. Analysts from Forrester and Gartner, who focus on enterprise mobility, also participated. Customers had the opportunity to meet Frank Dedobbeleer, BT Global Services’ new vice president for mobility and to hear first hand BT’s mobility vision and strategy, with Harvey Deaton sharing the roadmap of new products and services. Frank said: "I am delighted to be able to meet so many customers in this forum and to understand from them directly the business issues they face, where I believe mobility solutions from BT could demonstrate an immediate business benefit.” Customer presentations from Credit Suisse, Nortel, MWBrands and Software AG and breakout workshops on business process, mobility applications and remote access were particular highlights, with Jean-Francois Le Roux from Nexans commenting” "Hearing from other customers is of great value.”
