Give your Barbie a great new home

Operation Christmas Child helps to provide a gift each year for thousands of deprived children around the world - but the work of volunteers goes on all year.
Jill Dowling of Customer Service, based at Newcastle, organises the collection every year of shoeboxes packed with gifts to go to countries around the world, distributed by the charity Samaritan’s Purse. She said: “We go on doing work throughout the year, and at the moment we are getting together and dressing as many dolls as possible to put in the boxes. “Could you please ask if anyone has any old Barbie, Ken, Cindy or similar type dolls that they can donate to us?
