Teams pair up to win business

The events are designed to develop joint opportunities

BT account managers in Switzerland and their HP counterparts have been “power dating” to develop joint opportunities for customers using the success of the BT HP alliance.

The initiative saw the two teams spend the day together, discussing their experiences and sharing ideas on how they could help each other win more business. It was the second such event to be held, with the first taking place in Italy.

Throughout the day the teams looked at specific customers, based around the propositions offered through the alliance.

The event was opened with presentations from BT Switzerland chief executive Adrian Schuld and HP country manager Hauke Stars, who talked about their commitment to the alliance and the benefits of working together.

The teams then went on to take part in networking sessions, during which they identified leads and joint opportunities.

Adrian said: “It took a while to get the alliance started but I am convinced that it is working well now. We have the same customers and a great story to tell, so why should we not be successful?”

Hauke said: “From the HP teams I heard only positive feedback and I saw that already some of the sales colleagues have planned follow-up actions. I look forward to many joint deals.”

More information on the BT HP alliance is available online, along with alliance proposition material.
