Servista stake for partner

India business montage

Tech Mahindra will help Servista secure more large-scale European IT offshoring business

BT’s Indian partner Tech Mahindra has announced it has signed an agreement to acquire a minority equity stake in European systems integrator Servista.

Tech Mahindra, the largest independent India-based IT services provider in the telecom space, will exclusively provide Servista’s delivery operation for three years and will also help Servista secure more large-scale European IT offshoring business.

As part of the strategic partnership, Tech Mahindra will have the right to nominate a member on to Servista’s board of directors.

Tech Mahindra says the deal will drive its expansion into the European market place and will significantly enhance the company’s business development capability.

Tech Mahindra says it will support Servista in delivering managed IT services and provide Servista with cost-efficient and scalable world-class solutions for its clients.

Servista, whose headquarters is in London, provides managed IT services on an offshore basis with core offerings in operating and business systems, such as customer relationship management, billing, operational workflow, IT systems transformation and testing.

Servista says it also has an established platform to provide white-labelled customer care and billing services to telephony and utility providers that enable them to grow revenues, reduce costs and deliver outstanding customer service.

Servista chief executive Ben Andradi said: “We are delighted to enter into this highly complimentary relationship with Tech Mahindra that will deliver the huge benefits of Indian offshoring to the European market place.

"There is substantial potential for growth, which is reflected in current demand, as European companies are at relatively early stages in their use of IT offshoring for competitive advantage, compared with their American counterparts.”
