Unbundled lines in the UK are close to five million
|
The number of unbundled lines in the UK reached 4,961,000 by the end of August, according to the latest update from the Office of the Telecommunications Adjudicator (OTA2).
But it says the rate of growth has reduced significantly in recent weeks, The OTA2 update says there are now 5.01 million wholesale line rental connections and that the number of carrier pre-select lines decreased to 5.05 million. The update says Openreach’s R900 software build was successfully deployed last month and that the build is now stable. A full programme of live testing is now being carried out.
