Praise for Julian’s contribution

Julian Zadarnowski, a leading force in the Ebbsfleet fibre to the premises (FTTP) pilot, left Openreach at the beginning of this month to take up a new role outside BT.

Speaking of his contribution to the business, Anne Heal, managing director sales, products and marketing (SP&M), said: “I would like to thank Julian for his valuable contribution to the SP&M team and in particular his leadership of the Ebbsfleet FTTP pilot.

“This has been the very first of its kind for both BT and Openreach, and one which has laid the platform for BT's recent ground-breaking next generation access (NGA) announcement.

“I wish Julian the very best of luck in his future endeavours.”

Julian’s team has now transferred to David Campbell, under the Openreach NGA programme, and responsibility for NGA customer engagement will move to Tim Barclay, the new head of customer business management.
