Football teams from Greenwich were right on target when they battled it out to become five-a-side champions.
The event saw eight sides from the area compete for the title, with the team of Jimmy Webb, Steve Chapman, Ross McKenzie, Ryan Goodson, Kevin Williams, Adan Hassan and Guy Millson clinching top honours with a 2-1 win in the final. Operations manager Mick Venters said: “We wanted to do a bit of team building and the lads fancied the idea of a football tournament, so it was really popular. “It was good fun and was all played in the right spirit, with a small prize giving and a few drinks in the evening. We’ll definitely be doing it again in the spring, although the management team won’t be submitting a team next time in fear of another humiliation!”
