Top marks for a joint BT and Swisscom stand at a customer expo

A BT stand at a key customer IT event has been judged “best in show”. The joint BT global financial services and Swisscom stand at the Credit Suisse IT Expo showcased the range of products and services the partners deliver.
The IT Expo in Singapore was the latest event in a series aimed at the Credit Suisse business community. A year ago, BT and Swisscom announced plans to redefine their partnership to better respond to the future needs of their customers. They said they would link up their internet protocol (IP) networks to further optimise services for the benefit of Swiss companies with international needs. Steve Roknic, regional business director for the Credit Suisse account in BT Asia Pacific, said: “The emphasis at this year’s IT Expos was on demonstrating the value we have delivered to Credit Suisse business users since we took on responsibility for managing, transforming and enhancing the company’s communications infrastructure.” He said BT and Swisscom have been in regular attendance at the events - which offer Credit Suisse and around 40 of its key technology partners the opportunity to show off their services to several thousand business users. Steve said: “This year’s events have been our most successful yet. As well as allowing BT Swisscom to showcase our technology solutions and capabilities directly to a wider audience within Credit Suisse, it is always exciting to be recognised for effort and excellence when we win awards - especially from a customer.” BT had one of the largest stands at each event, covering a range of themes from outsourcing for competitive advantage and trading systems and communication technologies, to advanced services management and unified communications and collaboration.
