Keith Dickerson has been re-elected
|
BT’s Keith Dickerson has been re-elected to the main board of the influential European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI).
The institute develops global standards for information communication technology. It is currently producing standards for next generation networks - which are key to the deployment of BT’s 21 century network. Keith, head of global standards in BT Design, was overwhelming voted in by fellow executives from companies including Japanese telecoms operator NTT, Canadian network builder Nortel and the BBC. He said: “During the last three years I’ve ensured the board devotes more time to strategy issues which form a vital part of its remit. “I believe the fact I’ve been re-elected is a real endorsement of that work because I received many more votes than when I was first elected in 2005.”
