The Royal Mail feature about the BT team at South Tyneside

The BT Global Services team that manages one of the post rooms for South Tyneside Council hit the headlines when Royal Mail asked to feature them in a customer magazine.  

The team - part of BT South Tyneside - handles more than 1,000 items a day for revenues, benefits, payroll, payments and income, and that figure can rise to 8,000 per day for specific mailings such as council tax reminders.

The work of the mailroom team was featured in the Royal Mail’s Sort It magazine, which goes out to 5,000 Royal Mail customer sites across the country.
