Newsletter is a big hit

BT Innovate’s monthly newsletter has proved an instant success, with more than 1500 people subscribing. The online service was launched in response to requests by BT people for more in-depth information on BT Innovate’s early stage innovation.  

Feedback from the first edition has been overwhelmingly positive, said head of communications Simon Dux: “Subscribers can tailor the newsletter by choosing to receive just the categories which interest them, and will also be able to browse the news site archive for projects and innovations that may benefit their customers or activities.”

BT Innovate chief executive Matt Bross said one of the themes for BT Innovate’s current transformation programme is a desire to increase collaboration, transparency and focus.

“The newsletter’s role is to demonstrate the potential upsides of investing in a specific innovation,” added Matt. “We hope it will give the lines of business some real innovation insight which could be used to help them be more agile and quicker to respond to customers.”
