Q: Can agency and contract employees take advantage of Benefits Plus offers? A: If you are employed by a company other than BT - ie you are working on an agency or contract basis, then you are not entitled to discounts on employee broadband or Childcare Salary Direct. Members of BT extended workforce* can, however, obtain a separate discount on BT Broadband. And, for the first time, agency people and contractors with EINs can now take advantage of offers on BT products through the BT People Shop. Most other offers are open to all Benefits Plus readers and, as long as you can provide the appropriate booking reference or voucher, you will be able to take advantage of the discounted rates. If in doubt, check with the supplier beforehand. *BT’s extended workforce includes agency and contract people who have a BT identity number and are assigned to work with BT. It does not include employees of third parties that deliver services to BT, such as Accenture HR Services, Xansa and O2. There are some exceptions to this, for example Client Logic employees are eligible for the offer.
