ITU climate group elects Dave

BT’s access network research leader Dave Faulkner has been elected chairman of a new International Telecommunication Union (ITU) focus group that will examine the impact of information communication technology (ICT) on the environment.  

Ofcom targets CO2 reduction

Ofcom has today (Friday) set out a target to reduce its annual level of carbon dioxide emissions by 25 per cent by 2012 and 50 per cent by 2020.
