Business Management

Defence Business Manager

This year we’re launching a new full degree apprenticeship working across our prestigious defence sector. You’ll be part of our defence team that supports the Ministry of Defence. The purpose of this team is to use the power of communications to safeguard our nation at home and abroad.

  • This is a four year scheme that includes five rotations with your first four in Project Management, Service Management, Contract Management and Sales. Each rotation will be 9-12 months giving you a broad range of skills and experience.
  • The final rotation is optional and is in one of the business areas, allowing you the ability to choose your career path and demonstrate your area of interest and strength.
  • Each rotation will give you the opportunity to learn and develop in all elements of business management from working on a sales opportunity, to playing an instrumental part in the full lifecycle of projects ranging in size and complexity.
  • We are a company that values diversity and the richness it brings to great teams - you’ll be part of a community of over 1,000 employees who support our defence business with years of experience delivering some of the most complex deals. Learning and development is at the core of our culture and there will be plenty of opportunities to continually develop. You’ll be working as part of a team of 10 apprentices, and have a real opportunity to learn and develop together.

We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, organised, good at communicating and have strong attention to detail.

If you have an interest in security and want to feel proud of the contribution that you make each day then this is the apprenticeship for you.
