Focus on Scotland

BT in Scotland

As a major provider of communications networks and services in Scotland, we play a key part in both the economic and social prosperity across the country.

Our people live and work across each part of the country and contribute to the well-being of their local communities. We‘re highlighting just a few of the initiatives we have supported in Scotland recently, which reflect the breadth of activities we’re engaged in. In the last measured financial year, we invested around £1.1 million in sustainable and responsible business activities in Scotland, which also benefited from UK-wide activities funded at over £13 million.

Our online fundraising service, MyDonate, has helped raise more than £2 million for charities in Scotland. And last year more than 1,700 volunteers among our employees in Scotland gave 2,100 voluntary days to help good causes in their local neighbourhoods.
