Our latest Delivering our Purpose report shows how we are delivering against our ambitious 2020 goals and how they’ve been bringing our purpose to life during 2016/17.

Our purpose is to use the power of communications to make a better world and our latest report outlines how were focused on delivering positive change across a number of challenges including tech literacy, social disadvantage and climate change.

Delivering our purpose

The Delivering our Purpose report also shows our progress towards our 2020 ambitions including:

  • We’ve helped over 1 million children receive better training in computing and tech skills
  • We’ve helped customers avoid 10 million tonnes of CO2e emissions, and generated £5.3 billion revenue from the products and services that are helping them do it
  • 31% of our people volunteered with charities and communities, and we’ve used our skills and technology to help generate £422 million of our 2020 £1 billion goal for good causes
  • We’ve helped 3.9 million people overcome social disadvantage through our products and services since 2014/15 on the way to our 10 million target
