Some of the files below are PDF files. You’ll see this icon PDF icon next to them.

You'll need a computer program called Adobe® Reader to view PDFs. Your computer might already have Adobe Reader installed. If not, you can download it for free.


Some of the files below are ebooks, which come in two formats – ePub and mobi. You’ll see this icon epub icon next to ePub files, and this icon Kindle icon next to mobi files.

To open these files on your PC, you’ll need an ebook reader app like those available on tablets such as the iPad or e-readers like the Kindle or Nook.

For epub files epub icon try Adobe Digital Editions

For mobi files Kindle icon try Amazon Kindle for PC

Both of these work with screen readers like JAWS and NVDA.

There are lots of other e-readers available, like Calibre. These will have useful features, but might not support text-to-speech.

All three readers discussed above are free.
