Fundraising is better with MyDonate

Fundraising is better with MyDonate

MyDonate’s lack of commission fees, dedicated contact centre and weekly payments are all reasons to consider switching to us; with other platforms you don’t get this support and you could stand to lose out on as much as 5% of every donation*. So why not give us a go? We can help you create your first page and start fundraising. Once you’re set up you can see for yourself all the benefits of using MyDonate. Then you can compare and contrast and assess which platform works best for you. There’s nothing to lose and just think what that extra 5% might mean for your charity: another food bank, more aid packages, better medical equipment, a wish granted or one step closer to improved cancer treatment…

Here are three more reasons why you should give us a go:

1. Fuss-free registration process

Getting started on MyDonate is much simpler than you’d think. New charities can sign up by filling in this online form or phoning us on 0845 608 9922. MyDonate then emails you a unique charity ID along with a second form asking for a bit more detail. Once the documents are downloaded, completed and sent back to us, we’ll send you an e-mail to let you know that your registration is being processed. We’ll give you a call if we come across any issues along the way.

Once the forms are in the post, charities can be up and running within one day. MyDonate provides all the paperwork so all you need to do is fill it in. The process is quick, simple and there’s help along the way…

2. Customer support on hand

Our customer services team can support new charities throughout the registration process. We’re available on email – which we answer promptly and usually within one working day – or via live chat and telephone (0845 608 9922) – if you’d prefer immediate support from one of our advisors.

We also have FAQs, help guides and clear registration instructions online to make the process as smooth as possible. So if you get stuck, support is always there.

3. It really works

Charities that have swapped to us have really benefitted from switching. Just check out this testimonial from SpecialEffect.

SpecialEffect, is a charity that uses computer games to help disabled people interact with friends and family. It set up its first MyDonate page for an event the charity runs called, The Wacky Races. After experiencing success with this event SpecialEffect decided to use MyDonate for an even bigger event. Nick Streeter, senior fundraiser, said: “We used the platform for our biggest ever event called the Twin Town Challenge, which raised a record amount for the charity (over £250K). Teams were encouraged to set their own team pages up and the support from BT with advice was first class. We are very much looking forward to using MyDonate for the 2018 Twin Town Challenge.”

If you’re contemplating switching over to us, we suggest trying us out for one specific fundraising event first. That way, you can run MyDonate alongside any existing fundraising platforms to compare and contrast. So why not give MyDonate a go? It’s easy to use and just think of the extra financial boost it could mean for your organisation.

*Unlike other platforms which can charge up to 5% commission, MyDonate doesn’t charge any commission on donations. The only charge made is a standard 15p flat rate for debit cards or a 1.3% credit card charge.

MyDonate is not responsible for the content fundraisers post on their pages, but if you see something you feel is offensive or inappropriate, please let us know
